A Winter Walk…

We’ve had a bit of a break in the snow in the French River area today. It’s cold and crisp out there and the skies are a beautiful shade of blue, perfect for an afternoon walk near the stand of pines a bit further back on the property.

Unfortunately temperatures have already started to drop and we’re expecting overnight temperatures around -15°C so it will be back to the deep freeze tomorrow morning.

Black Bear stopped by for a Visit

Forgot I had this short video of a young black bear crossing our driveway. With the snow and colder temperatures that we’ve been having here in the French River area of North-Eastern Ontario, I’m sure he’s snug in his den and asleep for the winter by now.
